My Story

Thank you for visiting my page and I hope to hear from you some time. :) I'd like to share a little about myself and how I became a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor. For the past 12 years, I have been serving San Antonio through pet sitting and dog walking. I started my pet sitting business after surviving two bouts of ovarian cancer, during my early twenties-- while still in college. Going through that changed my life in so many ways, and one of the positive impacts, was showing me that I could live a better life, if I so choose. I chose to quit my corporate office job, even though it was paying my medical bills and college debt, and the best thing I did was start my pet sitting business, Spoiled Rotten Pet Care. I love what I do, and it has afforded me the luxury of focusing not only on my favorite subject- pets! But also, have time to take care of myself as well.

In these past 12 years, I have studied Tae Kwon Do for 4 years and became a black belt in 2016. Then I decided to get certified to teach yoga in 2019, as I fell in love with practicing yoga. Finally in 2022, I started strength training. I've been strength training for general health and muscle growth for about 3 years now, studying with various trainers in small and large gyms. In 2025, I joined a cancer survivor group called Thrivewell, funded by the YMCA. It offers various services to cancer survivors (which I highly recommend!), one being free group classes at YMCA. This is where I fell in love with line dancing, and aqua fitness, along with all of my other passions! I've since become a certified personal trainer with specializations in group instruction, senior fitness, strength & conditioning, corrective exercise specialist, & transformation specialist. I also teach line dance classes, and aqua fitness twice a week at YMCA locations, mostly teaching classes at the Y's senior centers. I love what I do, and I am dedicated to sharing this knowledge to encourage and inspire many others with their fitness journey. Thank you for taking the time to read my story! If you are looking for a personal trainer, or someone to help make a fun group fitness class for you and your friends, family, or workplace/community event, please reach out to me. :) - Danielle Q.
